Onur Emul, European IPR Helpdesk
Onur Emul is a Chemical Engineer with intellectual property background. After working as a Patent and Trade mark Attorney for five years, he served for European Commission’s Enterprise Europe Network project in Istanbul Consortium as an EEN Advisor, dealing with IP inquiries and technology transfer issues together with project development and communication activities. Onur acted also as a European IPR Helpdesk Ambassador in Turkey and one of the members of EEN IP Working Group-I. He is also a registered IP Court Expert in Criminal and Civil Law cases.

Georg Weber, European Patent Office
Georg Weber studierte Lebensmittel- und Biotechnologie an der Universität für Bodenkultur in Wien und ist seit 1988 in verschiedenen Bereichen beim Europäischen Patentamt in München tätig. Seit mehr als 10 Jahren leitet er eine Direktion von 80 Prüfern, die Patentanträge auf dem Gebiet ICT, insbesondere Computer und Netzwerksicherheit sowie Internetanwendungen, bearbeiten.

Prof. Dr. Thomas Wilmer, Hochschule Darmstadt
Nach der Promotion an der Universität Heidelberg hat sich Prof. Dr. Thomas Wilmer auf das Informationsrecht und Softwarerecht spezialisiert. Seit 2001 ist er Professor für Informationsrecht an der Hochschule Darmstadt, seit 2005 Geschäftsführender Direktor des Institut für Informationsrecht. Neben seiner Professur war er zunächst als Anwalt, ab 2010 als Counsel tätig (avocado rechtsanwälte) und verfügt auch über Inhouse-Erfahrung in IT-Unternehmen sowie in der IT-Due Diligence in M&A-Verfahren.
Seine Spezialgebiete sind Softwarerecht und damit verbundene Fragen des Datenschutzes.

Prof. Katja Hutter, Universität Salzburg
Seit März 2016 ist Prof. Katja Hutter an der Universität Salzburg am Fachbereich Sozial- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften für den Bereich Marketing verantwortlich. Vor ihrem Ruf an die Universität Salzburg war Frau Hutter als Universitätsassitentin – Postdoc an der Universität Innsbruck am Institut für Strategisches Management, Marketing und Tourismus tätig. Katja Hutter promovierte 2010 an der Universität Innsbruck und Studienaufenthalte führten sie in die USA und Kanada. Die Forschungsschwerpunkte von Prof. Hutter liegen im Bereich Marketing an der Schnittstelle zu Innovation. Dabei beschäftigt sie sich mit Fragen inwieweit Unternehmen die sozialen Medien und kollaborativen Tools nutzen können, um den Dialog mit Kunden zu verstärken und Innovationen voranzutreiben. „Erst zuhören, dann entwickeln“ – so lautet der Ansatz, um Kundenbedürfnisse zu erforschen, erfolgreiche Produkte, Dienstleistungen und Geschäftsmodelle zu konzipieren.
